We are delighted to announce that Agata Nyga, CEO and co-founder of SynLaia Innovations has been selected to join the Science Creates Engineering Biology Accelerator (EngBio3) - a flagship programme supporting pioneering ventures developing next-generation biotechnologies.

Run by Science Creates Ventures in collaboration with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and Innovate UK, EngBio3 provides a unique platform for deep-tech founders to scale their innovations at the interface of biology, engineering, and data science.

Over the coming 9 weeks, SynLaia will work alongside a cohort of exceptional early-stage companies tackling some of the world’s most pressing health and sustainability challenges. The programme offers tailored mentoring, technical guidance, and access to Science Creates’ thriving ecosystem of investors, researchers, and industry leaders.

Participation in EngBio3 marks an important step in advancing SynLaia’s mission to transform human health through mechanomics - directly mapping and targeting the mechanical drivers of disease. Through the accelerator, SynLaia aims to refine its translational strategy and partnerships to accelerate the development of next-generation mechanobiology-based therapies.
