Agata Nyga, SynLaia's Founder and CEO, has been selected to the first cohort of BiTS accelerator.
Cambridge, UK – 20th September 2025
We are proud to announce that our CEO has been selected to the inaugural BiTS cohort. BiTS - Big if True Science accelerator supports scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs in transforming bold concepts into actionable programme designs. Developed by Renaissance Philanthropy in collaboration withand powered by Activation Partnership with ARIA, BiTS is a 13-week part-time programme designed and run by former DARPA PMs Joshua Elliott and JP Chretien.
During this time Agata will work on intensive iteration of SynLaia's vision - transforming human health with mechanomics - with 1:1 guidance from experienced mentors. It will culminate in a chance to pitch the programme to philanthropic and government partners.
Agata's mentor during this programme, Sandeep Patel, brings deep expertise at the intersection of science, business, and global health security. He served as the first Director of BARDA’s Division of Research, Innovation, and Ventures (DRIVe), within the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services (HHS) and also built the US’s first public-private venture capital fund, into which over $250M was invested on behalf of BARDA.
